(Essdras M Suarez/ Globe Staff) BEHIND THE SCENES The Boston Globe was designated as pool for the event. What this means is that I was the only still photographer outside of Harvard staff and certain other Harvard publications to be allowed to photograph the event. My photos went on the AP wires and can be accessed by any of the thousands of AP customers. TECHNCIAL STUFF: Shot with a 300 mm 2.8 with a 1.4 TC at ISO 6400, Manual mode, aperture of 4.0 @ 1/640th of a second to make sure that hand-held telephoto would yield sharp photos without any movement. No monopod, I sometimes prefer to hand hold big lenses... personal choice.
